Through an in-depth study of the principles of design, the course provides an overview of the processes and strategies for forecasting fashion trends.

The student will be able to gain a better understanding of the dynamic nature of the modern fashion industry as well as learn and deepen some elements related to the culture of the sector. Sudents will have the opportunity to practice working with industry-relevant techniques. With its working method, the course provides a concrete first understanding of design tools and processes.

To explore the creative, commercial, and critical dimensions of printed, digital, and experiential fashion, the course comprises taught academic content, practical and technical workshops, case studies, and guided visits. As a result of experimenting with other artistic disciplines and developing their creativity, students develop their ability to work independently or in teams.

From the prediction of the future in the market to the fashion communication, 6 modules capable of providing adequate specific knowledge and tools to understand the various economic processes related to trend forecasting and styling. The objective of this Summer course is to acquire and analyze basic technical, cultural, and analytical tools, as well as to gain an understanding of the concept of trend and its significance in the style and commercial areas.

Through an in-depth study of the principles of design, the three-weeks course provides an overview of the processes and strategies for forecasting fashion trends.

After completing the course, students will have the opportunity to begin an academic path in the field of trend forecasting so that they can actively participate in the internal dynamics of a fashion company, within a style office or in a marketing office.

The course is intended for students who have competence or basic professional expertise in the area of study and are interested in developing their professional skills. Participants must be familiar with the main features of the Fashion Industry and keen to understand the main tools to identify and read Fashion Trends
