Come and see the projects by IED Alumni in a special staging in IED House's spaces, with live dj set and drinks.
For this edition of Fuorisalone, IED opens exclusively the IED House, the home of IED Alumni, for visitors of the Milan Design Week. From Tuesday, April 18 to Friday, April 21, it will be possible to visit the new exhibition of furniture and art projects by design graduates and meet the professionals of the IED Alumni Network, all accompanied by a live DJ set and drinks.
In particular, projects by: Yellowdot, an award-winning design studio founded by Alumni Dilara Kan and Bodin Hon; Lucrezia Viperina and Margherita Caspani, illustrators graduated from IED Milano; Paolo Conte, product designer from IED Torino; Nicolas Mosulen, designer from Madrid; Mario Alessiani, product designer from IED Roma; Andrea Chronopoulus, Italian-Greek illustrator from IED Roma, among the founders of Studio Pilar; Carolina Manes, textile designer from IED Rio; Pierpaolo Nieri and Giovanni Longhi, young designers from Florence and Como, respectively; and Cono Studio founded by Davide Piersanti and Ginevra Franchi, designers from Milan. Moreover, on Thursday, April 20, starting at 7 p.m., IED Alumni celebrates the creativity of its network with a party in collaboration with Red Bull, with free access upon registration at Teatro Moda, via Pompeo Leoni 3. Stars of the event are Marco Inselvini, considered the best laser artist in the world in 2020 by the International Laser Display Association, with his show made of music and laser animations, the winners of the Doodle art contest promoted by Red Bull, selected by a jury that includes Giulio Mosca aka ilbaffogram, and Andrea Crespi, artist and IED Alumnus, curator of the doodle exhibition.

What is IED House?
IED House, opened in 2022 at 14 Via Sciesa, in the Institute's historic headquarters in Milan, is the first space completely dedicated to IED Alumni from around the world. A coworking space and meeting room for organizing meetings. A place to get together, network or just spend some time in the city. A lounge to be experienced also as a place to relax among sofas, poufs and music, coffee and drinks for guests. Since its opening, IED House has already hosted interviews, shootings, creative brainstorms and talks, as well as hosting the daily flow of Alumni. IED House Milan is the first in a series of locations that will open in cities where IED has a presence. After Milan, it will open in Barcelona, Madrid, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
