A selection of projects by students from Bachelor's degree programs were displayed during the new edition of Milano Games Week & Cartoomics.
A selection of projects by students from IED's Bachelor's degree programs in CG Animation, Illustration, Sound Design, Graphic Design, Media Design and Product Design were on display during the latest edition of Milano Games Weeks & Cartoonics. The projects were told in the XP concept, a title dedicated to the booth designed to invoke the idea of experience, a term meaning experience point, usually related to the growth of the character starring in role-playing games.
From Nov. 21-23 at Fiera Milano, visitors could learn about the latest offerings in space created during the courses. An experience that, besides what the visitors might have, wanted to show the journey that students have during their studies at IED.
During the three-day fair, several students were inviting attendants to play video games on four computers installed in the space. Aria, Perseverance or Broken Chords; a video game whose ending is determined by the player's choices, were some of the projects presented.
Two Illustration students showed their skills in live drawing performance, while a selection of comics and illustration books were on display, and visitors could browse through them.
The XP booth was finally set up with a small corner where students from the Product and Media Design courses presented various table games. Construction games, interactive proposals with mobile phones or the classic memory with fantastic animals were some of the proposals presented.
