The second edition will bring together over 600 innovators and changemakers from 30 countries, inviting the public to rethink and take real action toward the future

We are returning as the main educational partner for the second edition of Future Days, a festival a transformational think-tank, platform and community to help imagine and shape more positive futures.

Between April 30th and May 2nd, Lisbon will host a three-day festival where creatives, systemic thinkers, purpose-driven organizations, and change-makers come together to envision an interconnected future between urban resilience, collective intelligence, and governance paradigms.

"Towards symbiotic futures" is the theme of this year's edition, which will be held in Estufa Fría, an iconic greenhouse located in the Portuguese capital. The event will explore symbiosis, envisioning a future where humanity, technology, and the natural environment are not just connected but truly interwoven.

Uri Casademont and Maria Sahade, IED Barcelona’s Master in Design Management alumni, are fronting this event intending to create a space where actionable narrative finds a common language to foster positive change.

This second edition of Future Days is estimated to bring together over 600 innovators and changemakers from 30 countries. Sohail Inayatullah, Chair of UNESCO Future Studies; Indy Johar, Founder of Dark Matter Labs; Payal Arora, Award-winning author; and Sheng-Hung Lee, MIT Age Lab, are a few of the speakers who will share their vision with the participants.

Among them, there will be a group of students from the Master in Strategic Design Management from IED Barcelona that will take part in Future Days, while Manuela Procopio, Academic Manager at IED Barcelona, will be part of a panel dedicated to the partners focusing on understanding the foundations of symbiotic futures.

The festival is also partnered with leading global institutions such as the UN Futures Lab, European Commission, UK Ministry of Justice, and CIFS (the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies).
