IED Barcelona’s participation consisted in presenting the 'Aquí' [‘Here’] project during the session “Instrumental actions for sustainability in Barcelona”. A proposal, Perrone explains, that “was highlighted for being perfectly aligned with the Picobello project itself and for being an academic project that, with the support of the school and its innovative vision, has become a social cooperative.” Its design for social transformation and environmental regeneration, scalable to other cities, were two other features emphasised at the event.
Joan Maroto participated in the collaborative workshop among the entities forming part of the Picobello initiative.
