Cecilia Juarez Balta and Matteo Crepaldi, featuring in the end-of-year fashion show with their collections 'Trasfigurando Infin La Meraviglia' and 'Overgrow' respectively.
They both took on the catwalk their own collections as part of their final dissertation project last June - within the framework of Milano Moda Uomo - for a/symmetry of reflection, IED Graduates Fashion Show 2018. The Vogue talent scouts chose them for the renowned annual publication Vogue Talents, which shines a spotlight on top new fashion designers among the graduates of the world's most prominent fashion schools.

The first one takes to the catwalk manually disjointed shapes through tangled juxtaposition of different yarns and colour patterns, falling and dragging on the ground in a line of oblique and elusive bodies, for a neo-baroque critique of judgement.
The second one talks about metamorphosis, with a collection of densely curled drapes, in a bizarre dissimulation of natural hierarchies. Lush and elusive, the fabric overflows from the hard cuts of resin armour in a swarming of new green.
They will surely be talked about for a long time to come!
