Move with the sun

Project located in the Valldaura Labs farmhouse in Collserola, which fuses interior design, sustainability and human well-being in a holistic retreat space designed to make the most of natural light and promote a connection with nature.
Inspired by the observation of solar cycles and the ability of living beings to adapt to them, “Move with the sun” seeks to create an environment in which people can move in harmony with the sun throughout the day.
From the interior layout — beds rotated 30º — to the choice of materials — photovoltaic tiles, natural stone flooring, wood and marble — and lighting — natural and artificial — every aspect of the design is carefully considered. The student aims to optimise light entering, regulate circadian rhythms, and provide an environment conducive to relaxation, meditation and comprehensive well-being.
