A bright hotel room that provides a connection with the city and the sea while fostering a relaxed atmosphere away from the urban hustle and bustle

Proposal for the Grand Terrace room of the Hotel Le Meridien based on a twofold concept: the connection of this establishment with the city and the sea (due to its central location); and the disconnection provided by its cosy interior environment, fostering a sense of calm and distance from the hustle and bustle despite being right on the Rambla of Barcelona.

The student has designed a bright space, with clean, basic lines and natural, easy-to-clean materials. The colour palette is based on neutral and warm hues (blues and various earth tones).
