‘BLOOM II’ is a temporary group exhibition organised by the Moduz collective that seeks to share reflections on natural public spaces
Through the project ‘BLOOM II’, which falls within the framework of the Basque Country International Architecture Biennial MUGAK (BOUNDARIES in English) third-year students from the Bachelor of Arts in Product Design explored how green spaces within a city can impact our lives on social, ecological, productive and leisure levels, with the aim of making our cities more sustainable, healthy and friendly.
In this case, an intervention was carried out in one of the most visited natural public spaces in the city of San Sebastián, the Cristina Enea Park. To this end, architects, design professionals and students from IED Kunsthal Bilbao worked on the construction and temporary installation of pieces that invite a reflection on our connection with this environment.
The participants of this edition are:
Arquimaña, Inés Llasera, Marmol Estudioa, Marta Ayala, Maushaus, Ocamica Tudanca, Sara Elizagarate, and students from IED Kunsthal Bilbao and the University of the Basque Country School of Architecture (UPV/EHU).
The exhibition is open to the public until 15 December.
