9 frames from the IED Barcelona fashion films for Moritz Feed Dog

These are the films that have won the most recent editions of the IED Barcelona Isabel Coixet Best Fashion Film Award

For the first time, Moritz Feed Dog, the country’s leading festival combining cinema and fashion, will include a screening of fashion films in the programme’s parallel activities; among them are nine short films made by Fashion Design students from IED Barcelona.

These are the films that have won the most recent editions of the IED Barcelona Isabel Coixet Best Fashion Film Award. An award bestowed by the prestigious filmmaker at the annual IED Barcelona fashion show Fashioners of the World, which recognises the talent, innovation, risk and creativity of the School’s new generations of fashion designers to reflect the conceptualisation of their collections in an audiovisual production, fusing narrative and aesthetics with a commercial vision.

The nine fashion films selected are:

  • ‘La Azohía, un lugar donde ser’ by Marta de Múrcia
  • Childish’ by Marian Descayrac
  • ‘No land to call our own’ by Paula Azategui
  • ‘Mi Divina Comedia’ by Maria Solsona
  • Bittersweet Emotion’ by Martina Biel
  • ‘Rituals’ by Luciana Cabrera
  • ‘Diary of a grown up girl’ by Beatriz Caballer
  • ‘SANTMERCAT’ by Anna Masclans
  • ‘Psycho Nhomad’ by Denise Graus

The fashion film screening will take place on Thursday 20 March at 5 pm at the Mooby Bosque Cinemas (Rambla de Prat, 16). Admission is free with prior registration.
