The Made in Italy fashion brand shared its approach to sustainability through its Ambassador at a conference held for IED Master’s Programs

Andrea Rosso, Diesel's Sustainability Ambassador, held a lecture at IED Milan to discuss the importance of sustainability and the initiatives Diesel is undertaking through its "For Responsible Living" program. Students from the Master’s programs in Brand Strategy and Management, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, and Fashion Communication and Styling had the opportunity to interact with Rosso and learn information about sustainable practices within the fashion industry.

Rosso emphasized the need to adopt a common language, integrated into business strategy, starting from the supply chain and extending to the design office. Knowledge is power: having information about a brand is essential for interpreting and adapting it to your goals. His advice? Listen carefully, read deeply, and recognize that it is precisely when a situation seems impossible or difficult that change begins.

In this vision, Diesel aims to be an alternative, celebrating individuality, promoting integrity, and supporting the planet. The main goals focus on low-impact materials and processes, as well as circularity. Additionally, Diesel is working on specific training for offices and stores to embed these values in daily practices: becoming an active participant in caring for the planet.
