Design Week 2025
The first free urban camping during the Milano Design Week is back and this year we are presenting an cultural program: Designing Togetherness
From 7-13 April the first free urban camping during Milano Design Week for students worldwide, The Glitch Camp, is returning for its second edition with double capacity.
Once again located in the "Enrico Cappelli Savorelli” Sports Centre and has the support of Comune di Milano and Milanosport. This initiative wants to ensure that as many international young students as possible can visit the city during Design Week. The intention is to democratize the creative and relational heritage that comes to life in Milan every year over these days.
Thanks to the partnership with BASE Milano, The Glitch Camp will also welcome young designers on the terrace of the Cultural Centre in Via Tortona, where the fifth edition of We Will Design, the Design Week at BASE, will be held.
The glitchers will use a campsite equipped with Ferrino tents designed specifically for outdoor activities, such as trekking and camping. Each tent will be supplied with a set of IKEA, products, designed to ensure a comfortable night's sleep and allow visitors to make the most of the busy days spent visiting the Fuorisalone. The pathways of the campsite will be illuminated by Bosch portable lamps, symbolically igniting the spark of creativity while casting a spotlight on the innovative ideas of future designers.

Design Togetherness
Take a look at the cultural program that will take place from April 7 to 13 at the Sports Center "Enrico Capelli" and at BASE Milano
Based on the different interpretations behind The Glitch Camp, the program proposed by the Fundazione Francesco Morelli and designed by IED Milano Master of Arts School in partnership with BASE Milano - looks at the practice of designing relationships and new alternatives to imagine a future based on being and working "together".

The Glitch Camp is a Cultural Commons
This year, the design of the common spaces and the cultural programme Designing Togetherness were designed by IED Milano's Master of Arts school, which guided students through a reflection on the quality and timing of spontaneous interactions.
It is a vibrant programme that will combine workshops, sports and wellness activities, moments of conviviality and cultural encounters, offering an educational and interdisciplinary experience for campers and the public.
The event represents a unique opportunity for students to concretely apply the Design X Commons design approach to The Glitch Camp, the narrative that characterises all Master of Arts programmes, a concrete opportunity to make design more accessible, offering participants a place to experiment, exchange ideas, learn and build professional and personal connections.
