A first, practical experience in interior design under the guidance of professionals specialised in the sector.
The Introduction to Styling and Decoration is an English Summer Course in which you’ll learn everything you need to develop a decoration project, taking it from the initial idea to final execution.
Over two weeks you’ll explore the fundamentals of the discipline and learn about styles, trends, space planning, colour theory and lighting.
You’ll also discover the secrets of harmonizing aesthetic and functional elements, doing the groundwork for future studies in Interior Design (domestic, commercial or work spaces) and learn how to apply the knowledge you’ve acquired to your own projects.
A real design experience in which you can combine your creative talent with innovative techniques to develop original projects in this exciting field.
The theoretical and practical content of the 2-week course gives you all the resources you need to develop your own proposals.
Immerse yourself in the fundamental principles of interior decoration and styling, efficient space planning, colour and lighting theory, and discover how to integrate sustainable practices.
You’ll also improve your communication skills. It’s an excellent opportunity to practice your English, and a chance to learn about the digital resources you’ll use to develop and showcase your projects.
No previous experience is required, just a healthy interest in design, solid motivation and basic observation and creativity skills.
If you’re passionate about styling and decoration, this course is a great opportunity to test your creative skills in this field, to further your studies or for personal interest.
An excellent introduction, it combines theory and a practical learning experience, with simple methods and the accessible creative resources you need to develop your projects from start to finish.
You’ll live this experience at IED Kunsthal Bilbao, an interdisciplinary environment where you can connect with other students and a variety of professional profiles while learning hands-on from a team of experts.
