Surface Creatures is an ode to the magnificence of nature, a poetic journey through the beauty and dualities of our world: light and darkness, good and evil, harmony and discord.
In this universe we encounter beings such as fairies, who with their powers dedicate themselves to the protection and nurturing of life, elves and nymphs, ever watchful, stand as guardians against looming threats, while gnomes care for the greenery, encouraging the lush growth of plants and flowers and assisting insects in their relentless search for sustenance. It is a world of organization, smiles, noble intentions and a sincere spirit of solidarity.
But just beyond, where the grass grows denser and sunlight struggles to penetrate, creatures born of rejection and the shadows of the community find refuge. Here dwell mischievous and malevolent goblins, sorcerers plotting revenge and devoted to the creation of spells and dark potions. Starving goblins raid villages in search of riches and supplies, while the remnants of an extinct vegetation manifest as roots choked by sharp thorns.
