A project that addresses a major problem in fashion e-commerce: high return rates. In Europe alone, choosing incorrect sizes accounts for 20% to 30% of all returns, generating significant costs for brands and frustration for shoppers.
To reduce this impact, the students have designed ‘StyFit’, a virtual fitting room that uses advanced AI and personalised 3D avatars to improve the online shopping experience, helping to reduce high return rates in fashion e-commerce.
By connecting to social media, it also allows users to share their virtual fittings and outfits, driving engagement and increasing visibility for both users and retailers.
