The death of Sonia, the twin sister of the student’s mother, is the motivation behind exploring the concept of bonding as opposed to the search for one’s own identity that underpins the creative universe of this collection.
Bittersweet Emotion examines aspects such as attachment, dependence, individuality and loss through looks in which the symbolism of the circle, found in the shapes and prints of the garments, is a key element.
Flowers, hand-embroidered stones or twisted, tight, rolled-up fabrics accompany this to form a very personal, delicate feminine collection.
