Salerno Creativity awards IED Milano with the Silver School Trophy as well as 5 silver and bronze awards for the communication projects carried out by their three-year BA and MA students.
Following the important success obtained by IED Roma (gold for the project 'The woman level') the Spot School Awards 2021 once again this year offer a rich series of awards for the students of IED Milano. In fact, the latter also takes home a Silver School Trophy: a silver as the best creative school in Italy.
Out of a total of three hundred participating students, divided into creative groups and pairs, three were the 'runner-up' projects - coordinated by Jack Blanga - from the Master Course in Creative Direction.
These are the creative solutions based on a brief from Caritas Italiana entitled 'The unskippable violence' (digital category, pictured is a frame) by Camilla Gandini, Giulia Borella Orsina, Agnese Bernaus, Alessia Accornero and '#notmystory.' (digital category) by Giada Valente, Daniela Tria, Elena Siotti, Sofia Rossetti; as well as Brief for NeMO Clinical Centres with 'Una diagnosi non è una condanna' (a diagnosis is not a sentence) (TV category) by Pietro Cattaneo, Alberto Sangiorgio, Beatrice Smania, Selvaggia Messi. The students were supervised by Lavinia Francia.
The students of the Undergraduate Programme in Communication Design also won awards with projects carried out as part of the "IEDforGOOD" Social Communication Workshop. These were curated by the lecturer Roberto Bernocchi with the support of two outstanding tutors: the multiple award-winning Alumni Andrea Bianchi and Alessandro Scuto.
Bronze for the Caritas Italiana project "Mind the gender gap" (Digital category) by Zelda Zof, Carla Anita Maria Gandi, Maria José Meola Urrego, Filippo Fabulli. Furthermore, Bronze for "Il volontariato è una cosa naturale" (volunteering is a natural affair) for Legambiente (Press category) by Gaia Demontis, Giulia Colombo, Mirko Sbrana, Giulia Gasparoli.
