Once again, the big night of graphic design and visual communication has recognised the talent of Istituto Europeo di Design students. During the awards ceremony of the ADG Laus Awards, which took place on 8 June in Palo Alto, Barcelona, four students and alumni of the Barcelona School and two from that of Madrid succeeded in taking home an award. The schools won one silver and three bronze awards, and two bronze awards, respectively.
In the case of IED Barcelona, the Silver Laus went to Varvara Godovikova, fourth-year Graphic Design student, with “Chaosk”, in the Advertising category.
The remaining three Bronze Laus went to the Master in Design For Virtual Reality student, Alba González Caballer, with “Finding Light in the Distortion”, in the Master category, and two alumni of Graphic Design and Motion Graphics and Video respectively, Xavier Isasti and Dar Rubinstein. Isasti won the award in the category TFG Graphic Design with “Pont al Palau”, while Dar Rubinstein did so with “Timeless”, in the TFG Digital category.
At IED Madrid, the students winning the Bronze Laus were Clara Espinosa Märtens with “Anatomía de las cosas” and Mariví Jiménez with “Spore”, both in the category TFG Graphic Design.
Likewise, the IED faculty also received awards: Bogidar Mascareñas, Typography teacher at IED Barcelona, won three Gold Laus and two Bronze Laus.
Congratulations to all!
