Yulia
Yulia is an App for a new concept of interactive musical events presented during Sónar+D 2016

Designed by the IED Barcelona students Junior González, Danae Fischer and Alberto Martínez, ‘Yulia’ allows the synchronization of a group of mobile devices with the aim of transforming them into a single sound system. It only requires an invitation to the event that operates like an amplifier gadget once it is adapted to the phone. The colour of the app corresponds to the time of day, turning all the screens into one visual community.
During Sónar+D was presented as the international conference that brings together a combination of activities with a common theme: the relationship between creativity and technology, and the digital transformation of the cultural industries involved.
A project was selected at the Global Graduate Show at Dubai Design Week 2017 and received the technical support of Digio.
