WOMEN: IN BETWEEN

IED Milan Project: Photography

The photographic project "Women: In-between" wants to show a choral portrait questioning the identitary and social condition of being a woman.

Starting from feelings and theoretical insights on the newest feminist theories about intersectionality, the photographer approached the female gender without falling into the existentialism stereotype, questioning ethnicity, age, background and personal stories.

The result is a caleidoscopic tale with the ambition of building a place for sharing, in which similarities and differences of the female gender can coexist. This place, for Rodriguez, is an explorable webiste in which the user can choose these women's stories in a combinatorial way.
