Academic year

2023/2024

The project was carried out in cooperation with the Bright Festival, a cultural event promoting digital creativity at an international level.

The work undertaken by the Sound Design and Media Design students draws inspiration from the human-technology relationship and aims to create an immersive installation integrated into the festival circuit. Whereas the Graphic Design course produced a publication to provide information about the kermesse and its many souls. Together, the three courses then collaborated on the creation of the brand identity and promotional tools for the performances. In particular, Urban Secrets is an immersive installation aimed at raising awareness of the pervasive presence of technology in our daily lives. Through the image of windows, the installation addresses issues such as privacy and “digital voyeurism”. The work highlights the mutual influence between the observers and the observed. Although the spectators are the observers, they may not realise that they themselves are the subjects of observation. As such, Urban Secrets is not just a visual installation, but also an in-depth reflection on complex human and digital relationships.
