The students from the Bachelor's degree course in Graphic Design worked, in collaboration with Reber41, on the development of the Type Out project.

Words are as important as the font that dresses them. For the Milano Graphic Festival 2022, IED Milano, in collaboration with Reber R41—a company renowned for its historical typographic transfers—organized a special event. Students transformed the streets surrounding the European Institute of Design into an open-air exhibition of typographic posters designed with recently digitized historical R41 typefaces. These include the Metropol, Dattilo, Divulga, and other iconic fonts that have shaped the identity of Italian typography, thanks in part to the historic collaboration between R41, the Nebiolo type foundry, and Aldo Novarese.
