The Boury Academy is a British not-for-profit performing arts school for young people from underserved communities based in Lambeth, UK. Currently, the academy is at a crucial point, seeking to grow and address systemic inequalities in this sector.
Through a comprehensive process of design thinking, the thesis proposes various actions aimed at optimising and structuring this process, such as the creation of a new space to be used as a residence in a bid to expand its range of services and customer base.
The project also identifies the need for strategic decision-making, focusing on three pillars (brand, service and scale), taking advantage of digitisation to improve scalability.
