SCORP-ION is an ecological two-seater all-electric car, a combination of sportiness and compact dimensions created in partnership with Abarth

The concept is projected into the future of the brand, with an extreme vision of Abarth's identity and character. The positioning of the lithium batteries under the load compartment allows maximum rationalization of space, while the motor is distributed in the four wheels to take full advantage of the interior. The two-seater configuration allows for a large trunk. The design recalls the lines of the scorpion, an icon of the Abarth brand, and promotes the vehicle's aerodynamics.

The model was created in collaboration with Pirelli, OZ Racing and painted by GR Painting

SCORP-ION is the brainchild of Emre Husmen (Turkey), Alexandre Goloskok (Russia), Aydar Nigmatullin (Russia), Maksym Shkinder (Ukraine), Karla Dennis Soriano Farfan (Mexico), Chrysanthos Therapontos (Cyprus), Marcos Villalon (Argentina), students of the Master of Arts in Transportation Design – work experience a.y. 2010/11, coordinated by Luca Borgogno, Senior Designer Pininfarina and Luigi Giampaolo, Maserati Designer.
