A jewellery collection using cataphoresis-treated silver and natural stones to investigate the positive meanings evoked by blue, the colour of calm, infinity and depth.

A colour that the student contrasts with yellow, the colour of joy but also frequently associated with emotions such as anxiety and stress. These are very common feelings in the modern society, which is often described and experienced as a performance society, where being productive, efficient and ambitious tends to come at the expense of self-knowledge and the construction of a collective value system. Consequently, the contrast between the two colours evokes the contrast of contemporary living. While yellow is an expression of superficiality, of an ephemeral joy that can also become a constraint, blue represents intimacy, the deep and hidden soul of the human being, the bond with others and with nature, which emerges and becomes a form of inspiration throughout the collection.
