Jewelry as an Expression of Connection and Identity

The thesis presents a series of jewelry collections that reinterpret classic elements in a contemporary way, exploring the bond between the body, soul, and human connection.

The geometric shapes of the square and the circle, symbols of the human figure, expand into three-dimensional space, transforming into a cube and a sphere, representing the physical body and the eternal soul, respectively.

The collections include rings, bracelets, earrings, and eyewear, all designed to express deep connections between people, with pieces that wrap around the body in organic and soft forms. Each piece of jewelry interacts with the senses, enhancing perceptions and creating an intimate, silent dialogue with the wearer.

What will be the future of Damiani Jewelry? Building on a solid historical foundation, artisanal excellence, the "Made in Italy" brand, and the distinctive design that characterize the company, the students developed their theses by designing a collection of jewelry and eyewear that explores the potentials and challenges of the sector in the next decade. The proposed jewelry and eyewear reflect not only Damiani's aesthetics and craftsmanship but also an innovative and forward-looking vision of design trends and ongoing cultural and social changes.
