Academic year

2023/2024

Last September 2024 the spaces of DiD Studio hosted the collective exhibition of the Master in Visual Arts. The six projects on display are born from the request to explore physical space, specifically to think of the book as a three-dimensional space. The works investigate the possibilities and limits of new technologies, as tools for developing a personal audiovisual language, capable of affecting imaginaries and perceptions of reality.

Occlusioni libere is a reflection on the impact that Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality technologies can have on our view of the world. The video of this project evokes a dystopian future, an hyper-controlled society where the boundary between public and private no longer exists. Occlusioni libere questions a possible reality and expresses a personal reflection on the weight of invasive technology in our society as a means of privatization of public places and goods. A parallel future where individual vision becomes a good to speculate on.
