Natural Rhapsody is the project by Jieru Yang and Susy Zhang, students of the Undergraduate course in Fashion Design of IED Milano.
The designers imagined a dystopian future, a world 150 years from now, in which the only elements related to nature are in these collections. They know the negative impact of fashion industry on resource consumption, energy, and environmental pollution. Therefore, they have decided to be leader in sustainable development by exploring and promoting sustainable production and design. They set an eco-friendly example for the fashion industry by using fabrics with all-vegetable dyes and biomaterials created with avocado waste.
