Modular footwear designed prioritising sustainability and innovation, with the aim of reducing energy consumption in its production, which represents 60% of the product’s environmental impact.
Using innovative additive manufacturing techniques, these shoes can be produced locally, reducing transport emissions and improving efficiency. The modular design allows for interchangeable parts, providing variety and ease of cleaning for casual use.
Each component is designed with repairability, orthopaedic comfort and unique aesthetics in mind. The materials chosen ensure environmental neutrality at the end of their life cycle: recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPA) for 3D printed parts and hemp yarn for 3D woven sections; both of which contribute to a closed-loop material cycle.
