‘Lo Invisible’ [‘The Invisible’] highlights the value of the legacy of the traditional cuisine of our mothers and grandmothers, and raises awareness of it among the younger generation so that they don’t forget a fundamental part of our childhood and culture. Through this process, the student Regina Pardo, a Graphic Design graduate, presents five pieces across different formats: face-to-face, through a cooking workshop that serves as an effective model for other educational culinary programmes; physical, with a recipe book; and digital, through an account created on Instagram aiming to disseminate this gastronomic knowledge.
The last two pieces emerged during the course of the project, integrating cyanotype techniques: a calendar of seasonal produce of the vegetables used in the recipes; and a bookmark showcasing one of the recipes.
