Academic year

2023/2024

This project seeks to challenge the established, separating objectivity from what we consider beautiful or ugly to create a new way of looking and experiencing.

Through ‘IUGH’, her Final Degree Project, the Fashion School student Nahia Marino reflects on how humanity is becoming increasingly immersed in a universe in which ignorance plays a fundamental role in our lives: we cling to what we have been taught and become less capable of transcending conventions.

This project seeks to challenge established norms, separating objectivity from what we consider to be beautiful or ugly to create a new way of looking and experiencing. It’s about recognising that each element has a unique aspect, leaving aside ignorance and focusing on genuine appreciation.
