A Magical Alphabet to Explore Magic and Science.

The thesis aims to offer a new perspective on magic by exploring its similarities and differences with science, focusing on the "blind spots" of the mind that magicians use to create wonder.

Illusoriamente has two main objectives: to create wonder and to allow people to experience it through a new visual language. To achieve this, the project places people at the center by developing a new alphabet of symbols representing letters and numbers, enabling users to express themselves through an interactive landing page where they can compose their own “magical formula.”

The compositions generated by users will be used in the communication campaign for the 29th World Championship of Magic, transforming the entire city into an interactive stage for the project.

In 2025, Turin will host the 29th World Championship of Magic, with the participation of 3,000 magicians from around the globe.
The goal of the thesis project in Graphic Design and Illustration, in collaboration with Master of Magic, is to explore new ways to communicate the art of magic through visual language. From identity design concepts to multimedia communication, exhibition design, and audiovisual projects, the theses aim to bridge the ancient and modern worlds, connecting the mystery of the past with the innovation of the future.
