This is the theme of the five-episode docu-fiction written and directed by Video Design and Filmmaking students. The aim is highly ambitious: to represent the dream of entering the world of films and series “from behind the scenes” through interviews with professionals, adopting a fresh tone and an innovative approach. Among the professionals involved in the interviews: Stop Motion Artist Tim Allen (Corpse Bride, Chicken Run), Leonardo Cruciano (SFX Supervisor on Tale of Tales) and Marco Valerio Gallo (storyboard artist for Freaks Out). The project is produced by Ottoemezzo Movie Factory. The story features three young friends who share a passion for cinema who find a mysterious board game and decide to try to play it. As a result, they find themselves involved in a kind of Jumanji of cinema in which every obstacle becomes a way of discovering directors and filmmakers who tell us the characteristics and secrets of their profession.
