An investigation into the possibility of photography to explain complex conditions such as blindness and low vision.

During the research phase preceding her thesis, the author collaborated with local organizations in Piedmont that assist blind people and their families, and it was here that she met Fanny: a woman who, despite her blindness, showed great resilience.

Through interacting with Fanny and sharing her experiences, the author wrote her thesis recounting the woman's emotions and memories on a journey from Peru to Italy, using photography as a means of communication.
