A new bio-based material creating valuable memories and meaningful experiences

Project aimed at using waste from the El Prat Artichoke in handmade pieces, as well as promoting employment for vulnerable groups.

Ex•Tĕrra explores the possibilities that waste offers in shaping a more sustainable future. Specifically, the project uses the leftovers from a variety of Catalan artichoke, the El Prat Artichoke, to develop a new bio-based material, creating valuable memories and meaningful experiences.

To do this, the expressive and functional capacities of the material and its by-products are explored in order to integrate them into an artisanal productive circuit that promotes the employment of people in vulnerable situations.
