The thesis explores the uniqueness of the individual through a journey of personal evolution and change, highlighting the plurality of human identities as unique manifestations of life.
Identity is seen as a fluid combination of natural and cultural traits in constant transformation, influenced by the interaction between genetic, environmental, and cultural factors.
The work is structured around three collections of jewelry and accessories — Essenza, D.Evolution, and Crisalide — representing different phases of human change, using innovative materials and techniques to express the complexity of individual identity.
What will be the future of Damiani Jewelry? Building on a solid historical foundation, artisanal excellence, the "Made in Italy" brand, and the distinctive design that characterize the company, the students developed their theses by designing a collection of jewelry and eyewear that explores the potentials and challenges of the sector in the next decade. The proposed jewelry and eyewear reflect not only Damiani's aesthetics and craftsmanship but also an innovative and forward-looking vision of design trends and ongoing cultural and social changes.
