Academic year

2023/2024

Last September 2024 the spaces of DiD Studio hosted the collective exhibition of the Master in Visual Arts. The six projects on display are born from the request to explore physical space, specifically to think of the book as a three-dimensional space. The works investigate the possibilities and limits of new technologies, as tools for developing a personal audiovisual language, capable of affecting imaginaries and perceptions of reality.

Edo is a video work that explores the link between memory and identity, starting from a personal reflection on Alzheimer’s disease, evolving into a path of progressive self-awareness, in which lucidity and confusion alternate. Through the reworking of images and autobiographical memories of the artist, the work identifies a personal language that defines an ideal boundary between elusive memory and a new imaginary.
