DERIVE is an animation that describes the world of Giffoni, the iconic film festival dedicated to the younger generations, beginning with the words of a voice over.

With an evocative and dynamic tone, DERIVE highlights the meaning and uniqueness that this experience represents for girls and boys. There are creative workshops, training events and music events to facilitate the stimulation of the imagination, a predisposition to new things, and the use of the language of film as a means for dialogue between cultures and experiences. For every young person, telling their story at the Giffoni Film Festival is a great opportunity for exchange and learning. The signature piece takes the form of a series of five sequences, linked together through the passage of an element from one story to another, which act as an allegory for some of Giffoni's identifying themes. Each scene evokes a different narrative genre, technique and target audience.

Students involved in the project are: Sante Limone, Valerio Ferraro, Giuseppe Liuzzo, Riccardo Rossi, Patrizio Tobia, Gaia Trappolini, Daniele Vergari.
