The research begins by identifying the city as a living organism, an interweaving of events, cultures and human relations that develop over time. In addition to its history, the nature of a place is shaped by the inhabitants who live there, their stories, relationships and contributions. Naples and Berlin, two places with unique and complex historical backgrounds, have both faced periods of decline and then emerged strongly, keeping their identity intact and exploiting their rich past. Chaos chronicles the resilience of these cities where culture, community and creativity have played a key role in urban rebirth and the construction of a strong and lasting identity.
The central focus is fashion, which for the students bears witness to influences and changes: clothes speak of young people and their vision of the future, but also of adults and their relationship between what has been and what will be.
