Jason Colaco and Alessandra Goretti, during their curricular internship, worked together with an international consortium made up of small and medium-sized enterprises on a project focused on inclusive tourism, particularly for people with disabilities.
Jason Colaco and Alessandra Goretti created a website that includes a business model and tools to address the specific needs of people with disabilities, making travel planning more manageable for them and ensuring that accommodations meet the necessary requirements.
The model is based on the idea of inclusivity, where everyone can both give and receive help. The platform also allows sector associations to offer support and raise awareness within the community, while simultaneously rewarding them. This creates a self-sustaining system that emphasizes the role of associations in making tourism more inclusive.
