Atropos by Alessia Sasso explores the themes of loss and alienation. From the conceptual phase to the final realization, the Master's student in Fashion Film Direction managed every aspect of the project, bringing to life a visually evocative narrative.

The film follows the protagonist’s return to their hometown after a long period away. Confronted with a reality that now feels foreign, the protagonist finds themselves immersed in a dimension of melancholy and disorientation. The settings, wrapped in transparent plastic sheets, create a suspended space, symbolizing their inner state of immobility. Trapped in this limbo, the protagonist is haunted by memories that resurface through unfamiliar sounds and visual details transformed into abstract images.
