APUS is a modern version of a planing aluminium yacht, inspired by the classic Baglietto designs of architects Cichero and Paszkowski.
The concept embodies the essence of the shipyard and the philosophy of "efficiency as the engine of innovation," combining traditional and modern maritime efficiency, blending effectiveness and speed in a new motor yacht. The interiors evoke the world of sailing and automotive design, with a predominance of wood, muted colours, and details in metal and leather.
A distinctive feature of the project is its efficiency concept, inspired by Japanese design. Sliding walls made of wood and rice paper, reinterpreted in a modern style, have been placed in the central salon.
The brief of the thesis project in Transportation Design/Yacht defines a modern version of a planing aluminum yacht, inspired by the classic Baglietto yachts designed by architects Cichero and Paszkowski. This version redefines the interior spaces to meet market demands, maintaining a maximum length of 40-45 meters and sacrificing part of the power to improve space distribution. The yacht is designed to accommodate at least 6 crew members and 4 double guest cabins, prioritizing contact with the sea in the outdoor areas, and offering spacious common areas.
