Every year, the Festa Major de Gràcia, considered one of the greatest expressions of the identity of this emblematic neighbourhood of Barcelona, calls a contest to create its poster and graphic image, thus combining design and tradition. For the 2023 edition, over 100 proposals were submitted, including two works with the IED Barcelona hallmark that managed to reach the final phase.
The posters by Sofia Ferrer and Evelin Yu, both first-year Graphic Design students, held 2nd and 10th place respectively, becoming part of the exhibition of the 10 finalist graphic images that can be visited in the Can Musons space until 21 August for free.
In addition to the final results, the exhibition includes multiple applications of the graphic design development projects that the artists submitted to the competition.
Congratulations to both students!
