Fourth-year Graphic Design students from IED Barcelona have created the visual identity of Upper Gràcia, an initiative to advertise the shops in the upper part of this emblematic city neighbourhood. The project also aims to showcase the culture and creativity housed in these streets.
The design proposal includes everything from the creation of a website and digital identity on social networks, to a map that invites you to follow a route through a selection of prominent shops, coworking spaces and workshops in the area, with prizes included. Those who complete it by obtaining a stamp from each establishment will be able to enjoy promotions, raffles and experiences conceived for design lovers.
For the graphic proposals, the students used colourful text and icons to identify different types of shops, with an attractive and inviting call to action.
All the creations were conceived from an ecodesign perspective, using sustainable papers and inks to create the map.
